A few notes about can candles ...
Candles in tins or cans differ from candles in jars or glassware, just as
container candles are different from molded candles. One of the main differences
has to do with light, of course, in that it does not shine through the sides
of the container. However, until they burn closer to the bottom of the can,
they shine light out the top and there is a reflective quality from the metal.
On the plus side, they are decorative and they are easy to mail without concern
of breakage as with a glass container candle; also more convenient to store for emergency
or pack as a take-along on a trip.
How to Order -
The candles shown on these pages are designed to be pre-ordered ...
they will be poured for you based on your choice of scent.
Each candle is one-of-a-kind, individually hand-poured, so please
leave yourself plenty of time while your order is being filled.
Leadtimes and shipping times can vary. Your candle will be created
using 100% high quality soy wax with a flat-braid cotton &
paper fiber wick and our own special blends of fragrance oil.
To order, please send us an e-mail with your selection. We'll
need to know the size of the candle you would like to order, the name
of the container that appears under the photo, as well as the
scent. If you order more than one candle, please clearly specify
the scent for each one. If you desire pastel coloring, please let
us know the color and we'll be happy to add it, but cannot guaranty
specific shades. Available scents are shown on our Scent List page.
If you have any questions, please send an e-mail!

Notes -
Although the look of these cans is mildly rustic, many of the
designs are highly iridescent, which does not always show in the photos.
Shades or colors of containers or waxes can vary due to computer monitor or mobile device displays.
Soy wax is a light ivory color, although the shade can vary as some scented oils are light yellow or amber in color.
If you would like your candle in a pastel shade, please let us know the color. Exact matches based on descriptions
are not available, however, we'll try to get it as close as possible.
Wicks will need attention given to them from time to time ... trim to a quarter of an inch (no less)
between burns or during longer burning sessions. If your candle has more than one wick,
light them and trim them together. These wicks are designed to lean to one side a bit while burning.
Larger candles, such as the 14.5 ounce that is shown on the link above, require an initial
burn time of 3-4 hours, with subsequent burn sessions for about the same amount of time.
A full melt pool out to the furthest edges of the container will occur after the candle
has burned for a minimum of twelve hours.
Soy candles do have a shelf life, as soy wax can change over time
due to age and ambient temperatures. For instance, whitish areas can
form or the wax can pull away from the glass. These types of issues
will not affect how the candle will burn. Also, the decorative cans
are metal, so they have the potential to acquire rust spots over long
periods of time (especially in humid environments) and you will need
to discontinue use if this rare problem should occur.

Also, during burning, soy wax can develop some little bubbles, which is normal for this type of wax
and is nothing to be concerned about. These issues are natural for soy candles and these
minor "imperfections" are simply part of the personality of these types of candles.

It's vitally important to fully read and follow all safety guidelines before lighting any candle.
